Robert J. Asselstine, CEO of P&T Financial: Mr. Asselstine is the principal and CEO of P&T Financial Company. In the mid-90's Mr. Asselstine was employed by Structured Capital Management, a division of First Southwest. While employed as a banker at Structure Capital Management, he was an integral part of the team that securitized over $250 million of "seller carry back notes" for Metropolitan Mortgage & Securities. This team of bankers was responsible for securitizing other assets classes, i.e. auto receivables, and provided structured financing to middle level banks and finance companies. In the late 90's Mr. Asselstine was a principal of Nexis International Bank. Nexis provided structured financing to the title lending industry along with assets protection for its depositors. Early in his career he originated and sold lease financing for IBM mainframe equipment to Fortune 500 companies. Mr. Asselstine holds an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan and an M.Ed. from Wayne State University.
